Paper Mache Tissue Box Cover – Painted Red Floral Lacquer

This paper mache tissue box cover is finished in a rich painted red floral lacquer, with hand-applied floral motifs in black, deep red, and metallic gold. The glossy lacquer surface protects the lightweight papier-mâché body while giving the piece a polished, traditional decorative appearance.

The rectangular cover is designed to fit a standard tissue box. An oval opening on the top allows tissues to be dispensed easily, and the lift-off lid makes inserting or replacing the box straightforward. The interior is finished in solid black for contrast and durability.

Suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, entryways, or guest spaces, it combines practical function with ornamental detail. The lacquered surface can be wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth. Its warm red-and-gold palette complements both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Each piece features unique hand-painted detailing characteristic of traditional paper mache craftsmanship.
