Paper Mache Pen Stand - Blue Floral Motif

This paper mache pen stand is formed as a sturdy, open-top cylinder finished with a solid black rim and base. The exterior carries a continuous, hand-applied floral pattern of deep blue blossoms set against a warm gold ground; each flower is outlined in fine gold lines that create a dense, repeating surface design.

The construction is lightweight yet stable, suitable for holding pens, pencils, or other writing instruments on a desk or workstation. The decorative surface is characteristic of traditional paper mache technique, in which successive layers are shaped, dried, and then painted and detailed by hand. The restrained black edges frame the blue-and-gold motif, giving the piece a balanced, formal appearance appropriate for both professional and domestic use.

Care should be taken to keep the stand away from prolonged moisture, as is standard for paper mache objects. The finished article is ready for immediate use as a functional organizer that also serves as a decorative accent.
