Responsibly - Sourced
As part of our ethos of ensuring all our products and their packaging are sustainable to balance the environment and human life, we are committed to responsible sourcing and resourcing by taking environmental and social factors into account when managing its relationship with suppliers. This strategy is an indispensable component of effective and ethical supply chain management.
We put a lot in research and analysis of each element during the supply chain from cradle to grave. We avoid anything that could cause environmental hazard by eliminating conventional practices and encouraging use of materials/ingredients that meet RRR practices.
We use natural ingredients that are easily sourced and available in abundance, considering human health in the center. We procure them from places that vouch for its origin and growth. For example, we get chandan, sandalwood from Himalayan ranges where these are grown and procured easily, without causing any harm to the environment.
We take extra care of the materials that we use for making our products so that our habitat is not compromised. Some of the common examples are our natural combs, soap dishes, etc. are made from commonly available materials like pine, sandalwood, teak wood, rose wood extracted from dead trees. We get these from licensed suppliers to ensure its authenticity.
Lastly, but most importantly our packaging materials are procured from suppliers known to use genuine sources of raw materials. A list of our packaging materials that we use is listed https://www.erda.co.nz/pages/erdapackaging
